Bio
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and working his first six years as a post-production mixer and sound designer, Cadell pursued his passion for creative writing. His self-published novel, “Weepers”, has impressed and inspired his readers. Writing for a 48hour film festival introduced him to the screenplay format.
Winning at the Pan African Film Festival
He has won Best Screenplay at the Pan African Film Festival, Best Feature Film at the Prince George’s Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Charlotte Black Film Festival, and Best Original Story at the CineOdyssey Film Festival.
Cadell’s 10 years of independent filmmaking and 20 years of broadcast post-production experience have prepared him to create unique projects with a multimedia appeal.
